Last 11 April 2016 a bi-media campaign called “Generation What” was simultaneously launched: 150 questions, 12 countries, 8 languages, a survey targeted for young Europeans between 18 and 34 years old.

The project is the up-scale of the French initiative “Generation Quoi”: a survey promoted by France Televisions that collected more than 550 000 visitors, 230 000 participants for a total of 23 millions of answers.

cover_generationquoiIn the adaptation the original format has been kept: the voice of young people is mapped and embedded in a user-friendly website where participants can also visualise live all the answers collected.

The platform will be online until October 2016 and right afterwards a group of sociologists will be in charge of the analysis of the data. An official presentation of the results is expected to take place by the end of the year during an international event.

This project is aimed at promoting youth participation in the democratic life and highlights the active role of young people in the European society.

We invite all our members to share it and to participate as it represents a great opportunity to contribute in shaping the Europe we want.
