(WSBERO/Geneva) – The Arab Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) has just issued an invitation to the European Region, seeking participants for the 15th International Youth Gathering for Cultural Exchange, which will be held in Egypt from 24 August to 2 September this year.
Many European participants have enjoyed the hospitality of the Arab Region during previous gatherings and National Scout Organisations (NSOs) and National, Scout Associations (NSAs) are invited to send participants by registering them before 1 August.

The Arab Region will cover expenses of accommodation, airport welcoming, internal transportation and meals. Participants are responsible for their own international travel costs.
A detailed factsheet on participation is being prepared by our Arab friends, but in the interim, please note that attendance is limited to male members of the senior age section (aged 18 to 22) and that their participation must be approved by the International Commissioner of their NSO.
Participants should complete the attached registration form and return it directly to the Arab Regional Office with a copy sent to the European Regional Office. Two recent passport style photographs should accompany the application.

The 15th European Guide and Scout Conference (15egsc) and the concurrently held 15th European Guide Conference (15egc) and 22nd European Scout Conference (22esc) took place from 17 to 21 June 2016, in Melsomvik, Norway.
