The Speak out, tell your Story! Young spokespersons’ training has started on Thursday and go on till Sunday in Ghent, Belgium. The training is organised by the region with the support of the Youth in Action programme, with the participation of 23 scouts from 12 different organisations/associations from all over Europe.
During these days they learn a lot about representing Scouting for external audiences, with the help of our experienced trainers who are both scouts and professionals on the field of external representation/communications.
Yesterday the participants had sessions about understanding external representation, and on the afternoon they had a vox populi excercise on the scenic streets of the historic centre of Ghent. During this they interviewed more than 70 people on the streets about their opinion and experience of Scouting, with very interesting results what they had presented to each other.
Today they continue with similarly interesting session, to deepen their knowledge and to further develop their skills in the next two and a half days.

The 15th European Guide and Scout Conference (15egsc) and the concurrently held 15th European Guide Conference (15egc) and 22nd European Scout Conference (22esc) took place from 17 to 21 June 2016, in Melsomvik, Norway.
