(UEB/Rio de Janeiro) – Pope Francis, the recently elected new head of the Catholic Church, will shortly leave for his first pilgrimage abroad after having taken office shortly before Easter. He will be travelling to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil to be among thousands of young people gathering at the World Youth Days this July.

And so will many Catholic Scouts from around the world. Their pilgrimage will be another highlight in their young lives and many will have spent months to prepare for this major global event of the Catholic Church for young people.
