Good morning to everybody wherever you are,

We are writing to you to let you know about some great mobility and learning opportunities soon-to-be all around Europe, mostly training courses, seminars for exchanging best practices, and study visits to learn about different realities, funded by the European Commission Youth in Action Programme, and happening around the place, it is a great chance for gaining new skills, knowledge and attitudes, to feel and to be part of non formal education processes, and to let others know about Scouting, and for Scouts to learn about fellow youth workers and educators out there. Therefore, here we go:

EUROPEAN CITIZENSHIP IN YOUTH WORK

This is a training course to explore the core values of European Citizenship, including value based education, and how to implement it and multiply in a non-formal youth context.  This Training Course is Supported by the Youth in Action National Agency of Portugal, Support Advanced Learning and Training Opportunities Resource Centres (SALTO RC) for Eastern Europe and Caucasus, South East Europe.

SOHO TRAINING COURSE for EVS Support People. 

Many of you have tried, and just as many have succeeded, in taking part in the European Voluntary Service, supported by the Youth in Action Programme, either by being a volunteer, or by sending or hosting volunteers, if you fit in the description of the latter two this training course has been ongoing for many years, successfully empowering the coordinators, mentors and support people of EVS projects to improve the quality and impact of their projects.

TIC TAC 

This is also an annual training course, which has been taking place every year, and because of the end of the Youth in Action Programme, this may be the last year.  This training course is aimed at those youth leaders and youth workers who are interested in discovering how they can use Action 4.3 (Support Measures) of the Youth in Action programme to improve the quality and European strategy of own organisations.  Just for clarification action 4.3 Includes: Training Courses, Seminars, Study Visits, Feasibility Meetings, Job Shadowing, Evaluation Meetings, Partnership Building Activities.
