If you are interested in the field of sustainable consumption and you want to learn more about the topic together with other young people from Asia and Europe, then there is an event for you!

The 18th ASEF University (AU18) is going to focus on “Conscious Consumers for Environmental Sustainability”. It will take place from 18 August to 1 September in Tartu, Estonia. The two week long event aims to stimulate the dialogue on environmentally sustainable consumption. The first week will focus on lectures and workshops, and the second week on international awareness campaign activities with local communities. This yearly held cross-cultural exchange programme of the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) is this year co-organised with the University of Tartu (UT), and the Estonian School Student Councils’ Union (ESCU).

The organisers call for the applications of 18-30 years old volunteers from Asian and European countries, whom study or work in the fields of Economics, (Social) Marketing, Environment, Arts or Psychology/Behavioural Studies. The deadline of the online submission is Monday 23 April.

You can find more information about the event and the application on the website of the call. If you are about to apply, please also let us know by sending a short email to Antal Piross.
