Supported by Intel, the European Citizens’ Prize — CIVI EUROPAEO PRAEMIUM was presented to the EYV 2011 Alliance by Marian Harkin MEP on behalf of EP President Jerzy Buzek on 30 September 2011, in the presence of representatives of member organisations and other invited guests. Ms Harkin emphasized that this is “a fitting reward for a great year!”
WOSM and WAGGGS representatives were there to receive the certificates, and to continue contributing to the Alliance Working Groups that help shaping the Policy Agenda for Volunteering in Europe.

The 15th European Guide and Scout Conference (15egsc) and the concurrently held 15th European Guide Conference (15egc) and 22nd European Scout Conference (22esc) took place from 17 to 21 June 2016, in Melsomvik, Norway.
