Become a Youth Peace Ambassador
You are between 18 and 26 years old, you want to carry out the strong message of Peace in Europe. Become a Peace Ambassador with the Council of Europe (application before the 3rd April).
Young people working in conflict affected communities are invited to apply. Conflict affected communities are understood as communities that experience or are recovering from armed conflict, terrorism, frozen conflict, rise of racist discourse, nationalism and xenophobia, the escalation of hate speech and hate crime, discrimination and social exclusion, especially related to the Roma community, migrants and refugees, or other types of conflict affecting society and young people in particular.
The project combines residential training, distance learning and field initiatives supported by a European network and is run from 2011 to 2013.
For more information read Youth Peace Ambassadors presentation. Please contact Alix at the European Office, amasson@scout.org, for more information or to receive a support letter from WOSM.
